Ian & Lauren - June 26th

A hot June afternoon, just dodging thundershowers, at one of our favorite banquet facilities St. Clements Castle, Portland, CT, working with top photographers Dan & Jenn from Stephen Charles Photography and the expertise of Fran Gagnon Films.  This indeed was a dream wedding for Ian & Lauren.

The wedding day started with the Atmosphere Productions String Trio performing for Ian & Lauren's ceremony at St. Ann Church in New Britain followed by our Strolling Violinist, with remote broadcast sound, for an elegant cocktail hour in the courtyard area of the Prince Edward Ballroom at St. Clements Castle.

Ian & Lauren's plans for tasteful and sophisticated wedding reception continued during a leisurely dinner, with some specific song selections and one of the most genuine Father of the Bride speeches I have heard in a long time.

As usual, working with such professionals as Stephen Charles Photography and Fran Gagnon Films made coordinating group photographs and scheduling events a piece of cake…. which is coincidentally after which dancing started in earnest.

Ian & Lauren followed one of our most important suggestions for the perfect hosts: at least the Bride or Groom should remain in the main ballroom at all times as a host to their invited guests. 

Ian & Lauren definitely spent a majority of the reception dancing - this was a crucial factor in keeping the dance floor packed all night long.
