Eric Leone - Crusin

In my unending quest of showcasing local talent, I came across Hartford's own Eric Leone via my good friend and fellow DJ Rich Edwards from SmoothGrooves on Gloucester FM 96.6FM .  Yes, sometimes it takes the roundabout way, but it was worth the wait. Eric Leone Pritchett studied at The Hartford Conservatory School of Music where he studied jazz guitar.  He is also a very accomplished pianist, drummer, bass guitarist, and saxophone player.  After graduating from the Conservatory, Eric joined numerous R&B bands, including The Touch Band, Floyd Patterson Jr. and Ring Side, Style, and Pizzazz.  Eric met another Hartford native producer/songwriter/musician Yasha Barjona of Hush Productions, better known to many as Rahni Song or Rahni Harris of "Six Million Steps" fame.  As a result of this meeting, Eric wrote the title track for the 1987 John White CD "NIGHT PEOPLE" on Geffen Records. Leone's first solo project was a CD called "Outstand...
