TheKnot.com recently released the results of its 11th annual 2017 Real Weddings Study. This comprehensive report surveyed nearly 13,000 US brides married in 2017.


TheKnot.com 2017 Real Weddings Study captures detailed information on wedding budget, style preferences, event characteristics and other key statistics related to the bridal demographic.  The National Average Cost of a Wedding was $33,391, down from $35,329 in 2017.


Remember, this is still an average, which means, depending on where you choose to wed, your wedding bill could be higher or lower.

  • Average Cost of Reception DJ: Between $1,231 and $2,300
