Cory & Mikki - Sept. 4th

In this ever changing wedding industry, nothing seems to stay the same...and with banquet facilities sometimes everything changes.  In just the last couple of months, we've visited A Villa Louisa in Bolton to find new owners,  Tunxis Plantation Pavilion in Farmington to find a whole new JBL speaker sound system installed and controlled by the very likable Joe.  And now The Riverview in Simsbury have installed uplighting in their ballrooms.

Cory and Mikki had selected The Riverview in Simsbury for it's stunning location and on this day they were not disappointed.  With granite dance floors, beautiful crystal chandeliers, high ceilings and spectacularly huge windows overlooking the countryside, this place was built for our nearly 200 guests!!

Atmosphere Productions provided a four speaker sound system that ran the length of the long dance floor and provided  "live" Cocktail Hour music with Guitarist Susan, who played a set of standards, jazz and few Italian favorites.   We had the pleasure of working with Sebastian from Sebastian Photography and Kevin from Kevin Lee Studios.

Cory and Mikki wanted to set the right mood for the evening, so we provided a custom introduction with Black Eyed Peas "Let's Get It Started" for the Bridal Party Introductions and Lady Gaga's "Just Dance" for the Bride and Groom as they walked into a standing ovation.

Dinner music was carefully selected by Cory and Mikki and featured Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews Band, Jason Mraz, Bob Marley, Jim Brickman and several traditional Italian tunes to accommodate family and friends alike.

All the music for dancing was selected by Cory and Mikki who wanted the party to get started right after dinner and the cake cutting with Black Eyed Peas "I Gotta Feelin'".... which brought everyone to their feet.  The dance floor stayed packed all night, so much so that the photographer had to use his step ladder to stand on the dance floor to take pictures!

Cory and Mikki wanted to wrap up the evening on an upbeat note, so we ended with two songs, Bruno Mars "Just The Way You Are" and Green Day "Time Of Your Life", with everyone forming a huge circle around the dance floor with the Bride and Groom in the middle.  A spectacular way to end an excellent wedding reception.
