Marisa & Chris - Oct. 31st

Halloween weddings are always great fun to perform.... playing loads of songs that we don't get chance to play at any other time during the year.

Marisa and Chris selected Saint Clements Castle, which fit perfectly for their Halloween masquerade ball themed reception.  This was also the same setting for the Ceremony with the beautiful fall colors as a backdrop.  The Groom and Groomsmen all looked fantastic in elegant gothic style jackets and the Bridesmaids in traditional attire.... the Bride wore white.

Our good friend and our routinely recommended officiant Rev. Dr. Robert Henderson presided over the Ceremony whilst Atmosphere Productions String Musicians Amanda and Nancy provided Violin and Cello for the Ceremony and Cocktail Hour.

Atmosphere Productions specializes in working with our clients, if they want to pick all the music, to get the best mix and create the right flow.  The Bride & Groom and family members selected all the music for the reception.  Marisa and Chris, with our guidance, kept in mind guests of all ages and made appropriate requests and suggestions to be played, which we gladly honored.

Too many times we hear stories of couples who's receptions only feature one style of music, like Techno, Rap or Hardcore Rock.  We want ALL of your guests to have fun.  By so doing, we strongly suggest a nice variety of different genres, but keeping selections that are appropriate for the Bride & Grooms personalities.

Marisa and Chris introduction music was "Xpander" by DJ Sasha and went directly into a choreographed First Dance to "Existentialism On Prom Night" by Straylight Run.  Also unique was the Bride and Bride's Father dance, carefully selected by James, the Father Of The Bride, "For The Benefit Of Mr. Kite" by The Beatles.  I can honestly say that I have never used this song for this dance - but it worked perfectly on this day.

Here are a few songs from Chris and Marisa's list:
  • Plain White T's- I Will Write You A Song
  • The Beatles - The Word -
  • Daft Punk - One More Time (Club Mix)
  • Four Tops - I Can't Help Myself
  • Hall and Oates - You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling
  • Jimi Hendrix - Little Wing
  • Billy Idol - White Wedding
  • Joni Mitchell - The Circle Game
  • John Lennon - Imagine
  • Elvis Presley - Bridge Over Trouble Water
  • Sammy Davis Jr. - You Can Count On Me
  • Frank Sinatra - Come Fly With Me
  • Ray Parker Jr. - Ghostbusters
  • Michael Jackson - Thriller
And the Last Dance song was the rarely played, but classic, "Stay" from The Temptations.

Marisa and Chris make a cute couple and proved that a themed wedding, although unique, can still reflect the Bride and Grooms wishes and most of all be FUN!
