Reception Entertainment Director

In my unending quest of showcasing local talent, I came across Hartford's own Eric Leone via my good friend and fellow DJ Rich Edwards from SmoothGrooves on Gloucester FM 96.6FM .  Yes, sometimes it takes the roundabout way, but it was worth the wait. Eric Leone Pritchett studied at The Hartford Conservatory School of Music where he studied jazz guitar.  He is also a very accomplished pianist, drummer, bass guitarist, and saxophone player.  After graduating from the Conservatory, Eric joined numerous R&B bands, including The Touch Band, Floyd Patterson Jr. and Ring Side, Style, and Pizzazz.  Eric met another Hartford native producer/songwriter/musician Yasha Barjona of Hush Productions, better known to many as Rahni Song or Rahni Harris of "Six Million Steps" fame.  As a result of this meeting, Eric wrote the title track for the 1987 John White CD "NIGHT PEOPLE" on Geffen Records. Destination Wedding - Montego Bay, Jamaica After leaving a 38 degree and overcast Connecticut, the 82 degree weather was welcomed for the much anticipated wedding of Nicole & Conor, who had arrived several days earlier at Sandals Royal Caribbean Resort. Also arriving earlier was our good friends Brian & Kate from Brian Ambrose Photography who are capturing and documenting pre-bridal and post-bridal events in their unique way.  It's a great pleasure working with a professional like this, so far from home, who's only interest is to make sure that we work as a team in the best interest of the Bride & Groom. There's no shortage of great locations for an outdoor wedding ceremony in Connecticut. So it came as no surprise when one of my clients mentioned last year, when they booked with us, that they would be having a Ceremony & Reception at Wickham Park . Located in Manchester, but stretching into East Hartford, with 250 acres of picnic areas, open fields, woodlands, ponds and gardens ~ it's one of my favorite places... it's where my wife and I got married in 1990 in The Oriental Garden. So, it was with a bit of a surprise and excitement to find out that they've added a new wedding ceremony location near The Cabin overlooking the Hartford skyline. What are the chances of upper 60 degree temperatures on a March 20th day in New England? Slim?! None?!! Well, when the weather turns this nice at this time of the year, you have to take full advantage. So, when Cristina made the last minute decision to move the Ceremony outside, we went with the flow and moved our Ceremony Sound System outside to the Gazebo area at The Water's Edge in Westbrook .... it was the right thing to do. After an apt Ceremony Recessional of U2's "Beautiful Day", Cristina & William went to the beach area for pictures - again taking full advantage of a gorgeous sunny day. Meanwhile, we entertained the guests with Cocktail Hour (and a half) music ranging from Michael Buble and Anita Baker to James Taylor and Barbra Streisand.
