Ashley & Jake - July 10th

Luckily, Ashley & Jake dodged the morning thunderstorms forecast for the mid-day ceremony.  Atmosphere Productions violinist Ben Dean provided the traditional classical music for the ceremony atop Wickham Park in Manchester, CT, overlooking the Hartford skyline.

The Bride and Groom made their way back to the family home in the historic district of Manchester.  Nestled off Main Street, this beautiful turn of the last century home with an expansive backyard overlooking the valley below.  Here was a massive outdoor tent designed especially for weddings and comfortably holding Ashley & Jakes almost 200 guests.  Set up on the dance floor playing cocktail hour music was Atmosphere Productions Staff DJ Michael.

In our pre-event planning meeting we had surveyed the property ahead of time and made suggestions for tent location, dance floor and electricity.  It's our experience, providing entertainment for many outdoor events, that communicating our needs and suggestions is very important.  There are many items that a homeowner may not even think about when having such an extensive event.  Ashley & Jake had everything we had discussed in place and ready to go upon our arrival.

Introductions of the Bride & Groom and Bridal Party, occurred from the beautiful back patio area right into the tent.  Ashley & Jake chose Jason Mraz "I'm Yours" as a First Dance and Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillat "Lucky" for the Bridal Party.

The evening summer heat and humidity didn't prevent Staff DJ Michael getting everyone up and dancing after dinner and keeping it that way all night.  The highlight of evenings dancing was a special dedication from Ashley to her dad Jon - Barry Manilow's "Copacabana".
