Atmosphere Productions: St. Clements Castle - Jessica & Chris - October 7th

Autumn in New England is beauty.  An Autumn wedding at one of our favorite facilities, St. Clements Castle, in Portland, is always spectacular.

From our first meeting with Chris & Jessica we understood their concept and worked together to bring all those elements together for a fun, elegant event.  It was a pleasure working with Chris & Jessica to create a specific playlist from Ceremony music right through to Reception dance music.

Atmosphere Productions provided Ceremony music with our classical string trio.  The Ceremony was officiated by the very talented Mary Coburn, who made the Ceremony a fun, joyous occasion.  Adding to the personal touch was Chris & Jessica reciting their own wedding vows.  We highly recommend Mary, who contacted us prior and helped us work out wireless microphone arrangements, since we also provided sound for the Ceremony.

Cocktail Hour followed immediately, with Atmosphere Productions Jazz Combo featuring Ron Murray, playing a mix of jazz standards and swing music.  Carrie Draghi and her staff from Carrie Draghi Photography and Tom Hickman from Tom Hickman Films captured the evening, working as a team, with the staff of St. Clements Castle to co-ordinate all the details of Chris & Jessica's reception.

Chris & Jessica's First Dance was Michael Buble's "Everything.  Jessica's father Steve made a heartfelt Father of the Bride speech and a touching Father Daughter Dance to Stevie Wonder's "You Are The Sunshine Of My Life".  Chris danced with his mother to James Taylor & Carly Simon's live version of "You've Got A Friend".

We wrapped up the evening with a custom edit of Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes "(I’ve Had) The Time Of Your Life" mixed into Black Eyed Peas "The Time (The Dirty Bit)".

This was a tremendous ending to another great beginning.  I truly enjoyed working with Chris & Jessica from planning to fruition and they make a wonderful couple who really seem to understand each other.  It was an honor to be a part of their special day.
