Wedding Transport: A Company’s Advice.   


Wedding Transport is a vital part of your wedding day.  How do you plan on getting to the Ceremony? What do you plan on driving in from the Ceremony to a location for pictures? How are you getting to the Reception? Who’s taking you home or on you way to the Honeymoon?

What are the most popular wedding transport cars?

Trolleys seem to be one of the most popular wedding vehicles year after year.  We have 9 in our fleet and they sell out every Saturday during the busy wedding season.  These would be most popular because they can fit large wedding parties, dates, family, etc in a social setting.  Most of the seating is perimeter style and there are panoramic views with windows all around.  Some of them even have back porches, which make for great wedding photos.

What should you keep in mind when you rent a car or cars?

Let the pros do the timing for you.  They will know the specifics when it comes to how long it takes to get to and from all locations, how long it takes to load and unload larger groups, and the true pros will know which areas have road closures, festivals, or heavy traffic delays.

What about style?

There are many different styles of wedding transport available: trolleys, party buses, vans, stretch limos, vintage sedans, premium sedans, shuttle buses, stretch SUVs, and even regular SUVs.  Everyone has their own personal preference when it comes to these vehicles and style still shines through in their vehicle choices.

What other things should the client keep in mind?

Trolleys should be booked about 9-12 months in advance, they sell out quickly!  When comparing wedding transport quotes, compare apples to apples – make sure you are comparing the same levels of service and the same products. I often send to couples this handy Wedding Transportation Check Sheet with specific questions to ask other companies when they are shopping for services.  You can download it for FREE!
