Atmosphere Productions: Your Ceremony Belongs to You

Image
To me marriage is a very special time in life. It is one of the important defining moments in life A wedding to me is a promise of hope between two people who love each other sincerely, who honor each other as individuals, and who wish to unite their lives and share the future together. I always feel it is an honor to be with a couple when they are married and I love it.  I believe that the wedding ceremony should reflect the couple. There are lots of possibilities for what can be included in the ceremony and I try to share as many of them as I know to each couple and let them decide. The ceremony belongs to the couple and I trust that each couple will know what needs to be included and left out. I believe the wedding should be a creative blend of the spiritual and the romantic. I do not believe the ceremony should last forever. 30 minutes feels just right to me.                               ...

Atmosphere Productions: St. Clements Castle - Jessica & Chris - October 7th

Image
Autumn in New England is beauty.  An Autumn wedding at one of our favorite facilities,  St. Clements Castle , in Portland, is always spectacular. From our first meeting with Chris & Jessica we understood their concept and worked together to bring all those elements together for a fun, elegant event.  It was a pleasure working with Chris & Jessica to create a specific playlist from Ceremony music right through to Reception dance music. Atmosphere Productions provided Ceremony music with our classical string trio.  The Ceremony was officiated by the very talented Mary Coburn , who made the Ceremony a fun, joyous occasion.  Adding to the personal touch was Chris & Jessica reciting their own wedding vows.  We highly recommend Mary, who contacted us prior and helped us work out wireless microphone arrangements, since we also provided sound for the Ceremony. Cocktail Hour followed immediately, with Atmosphere Productions Jazz Combo featuring R...

Atmosphere Productions: The Farmington Gardens

Image
Over the last few years a number of banquet facilities have cropped up in the Farmington Valley area.  The latest is The Farmington Gardens , located along Route 4, at 999 Farmington Ave., in Farmington. On my brief walking tour of the facility, I was reminded that this was once a garden center, now transformed into an elegant ballroom. Philip Chabot is the General Manager and he seems to have made a commitment to having a facility catering to the wedding clientele.  Although, there is more than enough room for bar and bat mitzvahs and corporate events, seating 340 guests in the main dining room, plus another 130 in the greenhouse room. The exterior boasts a stone patio, off the greenhouse room, leading to an expansive lawn and manicured garden, which will be beautiful for those formal Bridal pictures. We wish The Farmington Garens much success and look forward to performing in this facility in the near future.  Atmosphere Productions LLC is...

Atmosphere Productions: How to Assemble Wedding Invitations

Image
We found this interesting article on the Elegala.com Blog : How to Assemble Wedding Invitations Wedding invitations can be as simple as one sheet of cardstock printed with the basics, or they can include a number of enclosures. Not sure what you need? Here is a complete guide to the various enclosures you may want to include in your wedding invitations. Depending on the nature of your wedding and your stationery budget, you may choose to consolidate and forgo certain invitation enclosures. Here’s what you need to know to assemble your wedding invitations. Wedding Invitation Enclosures Outer envelope   Most wedding invitations consist of two separate envelopes. The outer envelope (the one actually scanned by the post office) lists the complete names and addresses of all recipients and holds all enclosures.  Inner envelope The inner envelope lists only the names of invited recipients. It holds all the contents of the formal, third-person invit...

A Evening With Vincent Ingala

Image
A sold out two night show at The Clockwork Repertory Theatre in Oakville, Connecticut saw the return of Vincent Ingala to a hometown crowd.... who where not disappointed. We've been raving about Vincent Ingala since we first heard of him via our good friend Rich Edwards SmoothGrooves Radio Show on Gloucester FM and saw him live last year performing tracks from his debut CD "North End" . Since then, this young 18 year old local talent has played at The Lilly Pad (Upstairs at Toad's Place) New Haven, Ct, The Newport Beach Jazz Festival, Balcones Heights Jazz Festival in San Antonio, TX, The Dave Koz & Friends Cruise to Alaska... opened up for Jonathan Butler, and has rubbed shoulders with Mindi Abair and Sheila E. (we are jealous!) In fact, after his performance in Connecticut, Vincent was jetting off to The Thornton Winery in Temecula, CA to open for Chris Botti. All this success is well deserved.  Vincent is able to capture the essence of the songs and ...
